It's been a while since we released the game review of Eclipse: Second Dawn For The Galaxy We've finally managed to finish the editing and release all the various videos we managed to film before new restrictions came into play.
Well what better place to start than with our video review?...
This game is still a favourite of Diary of a Lincoln Geek and we hope you find the video review useful to help explain why we love this 2nd edition of Eclipse so much...
There are so many balance changes...
One of the biggest changes in this edition is the balance changes across all of the species. Something that was clearly needed given the number of topics across board game forums regarding how brilliant and awful some races were.
See our breakdown of the changes to the species here...
The new storage trays save so much time...
One of the biggest problems from the 1st edition of Eclipse was the risk of knocking the table and sending tokens everywhere and never being able to accurately restore your game. The new design of this game has meant it's now so much more streamlined and easier to use.
Watch us unboxing the game and explaining all the new trays in our showcase...
I look forward to breaking out the paintbrush and giving my game it's own unique style.
There is now a vast array of new miniatures included in this edition including: miniatures for the GCDS (Galactic Centre Defence System), ancient ships, orbitals and monoliths. Don't forget about the redesign of the Terran ships too...
Check out our review of the miniature included in this 2nd edition of Eclipse...
We hope you've enjoyed the videos, make sure to subscribe and hit that bell to be notified when we launch new video reviews on YouTube, and please comment and tell us what you think!
